Blooming Reads

It is always a great pleasure to select from the books that land on our desks for Blooming Reads. Sometimes it really thrills us so much to have a big find that we want to tell everybody. The Cat Who Came in Off the Roof by Annie M.C. Schmidt, the queen of Dutch children's literature, is such a book. We truly need to have more fantastic books from other cultures to broaden our readers' horizons. That's why we are really excited that this month we have the third installment of the English edition of Oska Pollock by Anne Plichota, France's answer to Harry Potter. This series has created so much buzz among fans in Europe and other parts others of the world. Don't miss it.
