It was so exciting for us to see the young minds at work at our creative workshop!

At the first session on 13 July 2013, Pearl Leung and Maxim Lo, illustrators and designers, tickled the children's imagination when they asked the children to imagine their different body parts, such as eyes, ears, nose, mouth and even hair, trade places. They then got to work creating their own version of a body which was truly interesting! During the process they even thought of how the parts would function after their relocation!

At the second session on 27 July 2013, the children were told a fable of The Crow Brothers who were frozen to death because both had ignored the hole in the nest which grew bigger and bigger. The ending was sad, but the children were given a chance to rewrite it with the addition of a fairy in the story who brought the crow brothers back to life! What would their new stories be?

Everyone rewrote one to their liking and each one came out to present the new ending in the book they made. The endings were much happier! There was a rainbow, followed by a three-dimensional nest which was sturdy, a book mark to go with the beautiful book, a spider web in the tree.... Elements that we did not expect to see appeared one after another! What pleasant surprises from our creative members! It really revealed the artists in them!

Thank you, Pearl and Maxim, for helping the children discover their creativity!

Children, keep up the good work!
