About the storytellers:
Judy Luk is originally from the US. She has lived in Hong Kong for more than 18 years, and is the former headmistress of the Chung Chi Nursery School at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is passionate about reading because it presents a child with a storehouse of creative thinking, expression, language usage and inspiration, in addition to knowledge and information.
Christa Tam is the project manager of Blooming Club. She fell in love with children's literature while she was raising her daughter in Japan. She volunteered in kindergartens and primary schools to introduce English children's books to the local children. Since her return to Hong Kong, she has been promoting reading in English for pleasure amongst children.
