Story Time : Searching for Skye (02/02/2013)

Pilot and Skye, two Arctic tern babies, are about to start their first incredible migration from the Arctic to the Antarctic. The flock is ready and it's time to go but suddenly Skye cannot be found. Her worried parents search everywhere but she has simply disappeared.
The family must leave with the flock or risk facing the long and difficult journey alone. Will they ever see their lost baby again?
Follow Gail Clarke, the author, their exciting and sometimes dangerous pole-to-pole migration to find out.
About the author:
Gail Clarke spent 28 years in Hong Kong as a teacher before retiring to Italy with her husband in 2004. The freezing winters there made her think about migration to warmer climes where her children and grandchildren live. That led to even more interest in animal migration which in turn resulted in the publication of Patrick's Birthday Message and Searching for Skye.
