Animal Farm: From Page to Stage (02/03/2013)

Suitable for 12 or above

It's not easy to "bring the page to the stage". What about creating a new musical based on the classic novel – Animal Farm? Yes – It's challenging!

In 2010, Theatre Noir produced the musical version of Animal Farm and won four awards in the 20th Hong Kong Drama Awards. The musical will be staged again on March 9 and 10, 2013.

Before going to see the musical, readers have the chance to hear from the Playwright - Ms. Harriet Chung, the Composer & Musical Director - Mr. Frankie Ho, the Lyricist - Mr. Benjamin S. Robinson and the Director - Mr. William Yip on 2nd March 2013 at Tsimshatsui Book Centre.

Be prepared to have a peek at the creative process and to have a fuller picture about how a musical production is created based on a classic novel.
