Storytelling Conference (02/11/2013 ~ 03/11/2013)

Have you ever stopped to consider how powerful storytelling could be in your English classroom setting?

Whether in a pre-primary, primary or secondary classroom, the skills can be used to liven up your lessons and make learning the English language a more interesting experience for your students. Listening to stories will improve their concentration while providing short, memorable and entertaining contrasts to the prosaic world of a grammar text.

Blooming Club is proudly hosting our first Storytelling Conference, a professional development programme for teachers and educators, on 2nd and 3rd November 2013.

Our Keynote Speaker, Roger Jenkins, an award-winning master storyteller, will demonstrate how to use storytelling effectively in language teaching. Four locally-based storytellers will join him in running workshops. Participants at the conference will receive a certificate on completion of the programme.

Your classroom will never be the same!
