It's the 45th anniversary of The Very Hungry Caterpillar so come and join Pauline Young in our story time on 22 March 2014 and there just may be a birthday present for you!

Since 1969, much-loved author and illustrator Eric Carle has inspired very hungry young minds the world over with The Very Hungry Caterpillar and now we can all munch together with The Very Hungry Caterpillar as he eats his way to his cocoon!

And did you know you can also spin a spider's web with The Very Busy Spider also by Eric Carle?

Join us and dress up as a caterpillar or as your favourite fruit/food! It's going to be a really fun and very busy story time!

About the Author:

Pauline Young is an avid storyteller who enjoys telling stories to adults and children alike. She started reading and telling animated stories to her two sons when they were 6 months old. She wrote Socks Heaven in order to teach them a variety of basic concepts through fun stories rather than by rote. When her boys began to read on their own, she brought her ever-growing passion for picture books to volunteer reading at public libraries.
