About the author:
Isabelle Demenge is a native of Paris who moved to New York City to start a family. She has lived many lives: corporate finance lawyer, mother of three boys, amateur photographer, world traveller and writer. Facing the difficulties of travelling with her children in Cambodia, she decided to write for her kids the book that she couldn't find… Having passed her kids' crash-test, she has continued to develop a series of children's travel books called Leap & Hop for various destinations, the latest addition is Leap & Hop: Hong Kong. Her books help families move from "kid–friendly destinations" to places that are culturally richer in a way that all will enjoy with information hand-picked for children and interactive games.
About the illustrator
Emilie Sarnel graduated from French art school ENSAD, "École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs", in Paris where she was professionally trained in graphic design. After graduation, Emilie went to Shanghai to provide art direction for the creative advertising agency Wieden+Kennedy, that later relocated her to Tokyo in 2009 as graphic designer. She left Tokyo for Hong Kong in 2011 and started her own creative design studio in May 2013. Among other projects, she is now art directing the Leap & Hop book series written by Isabelle Demenge.
