How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? (27/02/2010)

How do your young ones say good night? What do they do when they don’t want to go to sleep? Do they sleep soundly every night?
Mark Granic from Scholastic Asia will be at Causeway Bay Book Centre on 27 Feb to introduce the children to the wonderful world of dinosaurs and the importance of sleeping with the help of e-books.
Join us at this special storytelling, video, discussion session where we will peek into the home of dinosaur babies and their parents at bedtime in Jane Yolan's How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight. We will explore the contrast between "good" and "bad" bedtime behavior in a playful way and read together the non-fiction story A Good Night's Sleep.
Putting your young ones to bed may become easier and more fun from now on.
About the storyteller:
Mark Granic is the Education and Trade Manager of Scholastic Asia. He was an EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher in Taiwan for 8 years teaching mostly kindergarten to lower primary students. He then became a teacher trainer, traveling around Taiwan to share with teachers his experiences from within the EFL classroom.
Mark believes that the more young children read, the more stories they are read to and the more literature they are exposed to will help them develop a sense of themselves and a sense of the world around them.
Mark now lives in Hong Kong and enjoys any opportunity to read a good book to a group of children.
