Mammy's Sweet Words travel around the world with Oliver the Quiet Firefighter (21/03/2010)
Come and join us at the launching of Sophie Paine's two new titles: Sweet Words, a special book for mothers, it is also an intimate and fun way for children to learn new languages; and Oliver the Quiet Firefighter, a book about shyness with delightful illustrations by Maxim Lo.
About the author
Sophie Paine has moved from her native France to sunny Italy, snowy Minnesota and the monsoons of Hong Kong, and married an Englishman. On her way, Sophie left behind accounting and financial reports, taught English to Somali refugees and picked up paintbrushes and crayons. She enjoys learning languages, educating people around the world about finance, and playing with her two bilingual boys. She has published Are You My Mummy? /Es-Tu Mon Papa.
