Don't miss a special event for the whole family – Australian author, Arthur Charles and illustrator, Kate Anderson, share the adventures of Poucher the kangaroo at Blooming Club’s Olympian City Branch.
About the Author:
Arthur Pendrill Charles went on from his ‘bush’ school to a distinguished career in the banking world, company directorships and a lifetime devotion to the Royal Agricultural Society where his country pursuits, accounting skills and sense of humour were an invaluable combination in his exacting rule as Treasurer for 20 years.
About the Illustrator:
Kate Anderson is a visual artist whose work includes painting, digital collage, photo art and now children’s book illustration. She has spent time every year since 2006 in Beijing as part of the Red Gate Gallery Residency program. Kate exhibits regularly with the Barry Stern / Maunsell Wickes Gallery in Sydney. She is also associated with China Art Projects based in Beijing.
