Our Judy Moody 10th anniversary event on 10 July 2010 turned out to be a small party. We were wondering if everybody was away at the beginning of long summer holiday? We couldn't help thinking perhaps it's better to celebrate Judy Moody's anniversary on her birthday on 1st April.

Those who were there had a good time as they all loved her positive thinking, her creativity and her irrepressible imagination. After all, who but Judy Moody would have thought of putting "I ate a shark" and drawing a picture of a shark with very sharp teeth on her plain T-shirt, to make her rather unexciting seaside holiday on a local beach seem something rather more exotic?

At the end of the event, mums and dads were pleased to discover there is more than princesses and fairies for their girls to read about. (Perhaps you didn't know that, boys too, enjoy Judy Moody?) The girls had great fun putting on the Judy Moody ring and posing for our photographer! They all promised to be like Judy and would not let their bad moods last for long and to get into the mood for reading this summer.
