It was simply wonderful to have the youngest members and their parents with us on 18th September to celebrate Spot's birthday. Spot, created 30 years ago by Eric Hill for his 2-years-old son, is a best-loved pre-school character. The bold pictures and the simple stories of Spot's daily happenings in their lift-the-flap format engage young readers who love the interactive element in their story time.

The young children loved Where's Spot read by Kitty But, our guest storyteller, as well as the Spot the Differences game. It was our first time to have a Colouring Competition at our event and we were most impressed by how meticulously the children coloured! Every picture looked just great. It was really difficult to choose a winner and we felt that everyone deserved a lovely Spot plush toy in the end! Check out the pictures of how happy all the children were with their yellow puppy toy.

If you have not yet joined any of our events, why not join us for some fun? We hope to see you soon – you never know what you might come away with……
