Blooming Club is celebrating its 3rd anniversary on 6 October 2012! Come and help us celebrate. 

There are three parts to the celebration.

PART 1Story Time: The Book Bear You will meet Otto, a bear who lives in a book. He is at his happiest when his book is being read, but one day everything changes, and Otto must find a new home. Find out from Lise Fraissinet if he will find the perfect home. 

PART 2My Favourite Book Sharing Session 15 children can join "My Favourite Book" sharing session. Every participant is required to bring to the party a drawing of the character/characters from his or her favourite book, and then stand up to share with the audience why it is a favourite in one minute. Each participant will receive a lovely picture book.

Katie Cleminson is the winner of Best Emerging Illustrator at the Booktrust Early Years Awards 2009 for Box of Tricks.

About the storyteller:

Lise Fraissinet is French and now lives in Hong Kong with her family. When her locally born son was small, she was fascinated by the influence both Eastern and Western cultures had on his development. This has led her to create the Petit Paul Globe Trotter series to share the interesting aspects of Hong Kong and the countries the family has traveled in through the young child’s eyes.
