Clifford the Big Red Dog is 50 this year!

Come and meet Clifford at his 50th birthday party on 12 January 2013.

Mrs. Judy Luk will be telling classics Clifford stories from the new Clifford Collection as well as the background of his birth.

About the author:

Norman Bridwell spent much of his free time drawing as a child. He followed his mother’s advice and went to art school after finishing high school. There he found out that people enjoyed his funny illustrations and stories. His painting of his own little girl with a very big dog caught the attention of an editor who asked him to write stories about them. And so Clifford and Emily Elizabeth were born in 1963. www.scholastic.com/clifford
