Storytelling Workshop: Your Storytelling Voice (22/08/2013)

Have you ever assessed your voice and set a goal to acquire qualities you would like it to convey? The workshop looks at both the mechanics of voice production and the dynamics of inspired storytelling using skillsets and strategies to improve your voice, the medium, as well your message, the stories you carry in you. You’ll learn to source, shape and share a wealth of stories with your children and family.

About the Pauline:

Pauline Young, a communication specialist, published author and storyteller, graduated from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and an MBA. After working for two of Hong Kong's largest employers in the public and private sectors in communications and training for over 10 years, she started her own training consultancy and frequently travels between China, Hong Kong and the US, giving talks and communications workshops for corporations, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Her clients include HSBC, HKSAR Government, AIG, Bank of America Merrill-Lynch, Longman Pearson, Bring Me A Book Foundation, among others. She leads reading programmes and delivers creative storytelling "playshops" for schools, libraries and community centres. Her first children's book, "Socks Heaven", was published in 2004.
