Blooming Club is celebrating its 4th anniversary on 5th October!

There are three parts to our celebration:
PART 1Story Time: The Lion vs Rabbit All the animals in the Savannah are tired of Lion's bullying, but none is capable of standing up to him. It seems Lion's meanness is quite unstoppable until a little rabbit responds to their advertisement for help.
But what can a tiny rabbit do? Find out from David Parrish, our storyteller, on 5th October.
PART 2My Favourite Book Sharing Session 10 Children can join "My Favourite Book" sharing session. Each child needs to bring to the party a drawing of the character / characters from his or her favourite book, and then stand up and share with the audience why it is a favourite in 1 minute. Each participant will receive a lovely picture book! We look forward to the sharing and the pictures. "My Favourite Book" registration Please email the name, age and gender of your participating child / children to bloomingclub@commercialpress.com.hk in addition to the usual registration below. Limited availability on a first come, first served basis.Registration quota is reached.
PART 3Party TimeNeedless to say, we will have a birthday cake, drinks, a lucky draw and free gifts.

About the author:
Alex Latimer is an author and illustrator living in Cape Town, which is why he regularly has to shoo baboons out of his lounge.
About the storyteller:
David Parrish has always enjoyed reading since he was a little boy thanks to his Mum and Dad who would take him to the library to select books and read to him at bedtime. His early introduction to reading and being read to was a wonderful gift that has stayed with him all his life.
David has been living in Hong Kong since August 2011, and when not working here or travelling, he enjoys taking a ferry to one of the many outlying islands or walking in places like Tai Lam Country Park.
