Let's go for a walk with Mouse in the deep dark wood where he scares away hungry animals by inventing a terrifying monster, the Gruffalo. Without knowing it, Mouse has to come face to face with the very creature he conjured up in his imagination - how will Mouse thwart the danger when the Gruffalo actually appears?

About the Author:
Julia Donaldson grew up enjoying creating imaginary characters and mimicking real ones with her younger sister. She is not just a children's writer but also a singer / songwriter.
About the Illustrator:
Axel Scheffler has had wide acclaim for his children's book illustrations and his books have been translated into over twenty languages. Born in Germany, Axel now lives in London.
About the Storyteller:
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Lindy Fok is the director of a English based learning centre, Kiddikraft. She firmly believes that all children should enjoy books and loves to read to children to bring stories to life.
