60th anniversary of Petunia, the silly goose at Blooming Club (05/06/2010)

Written 60 years ago, Petunia by Roger Duvoison was the first of a series of Petunia, the silly goose's story. Petunia overhears a conversation that "He who owns Books and loves them is wise. "So when she finds one, she believes that she has become wiser and grows prouder and prouder day after day, dispensing advice to all other animals around her which inevitably makes herself looks very silly.
Come to Jan Mann's reading of Petunia for its gentle lesson and humour, we are certain this timeless story will delight a new generation of readers. Hope to see you there. Join now.
