Horrid Henry Reads a Book storytelling (07/05/2011)

Getting Horrid Henry to read is no easy task because he finds it difficult. But if the prize of his school’s reading competition is a family trip to a theme park, certainly Henry is determined to win…… but how on earth is he going to read all those books?
Come to our storytelling on 7 May 2011 to find out.
Incidentally, Horrid Henry is not content with selling over 15 million books in the UK, now a live action 3D film is in production. It is slated for a 2011 UK release.
About the storyteller:
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Mrs. Lindy Fok is the director of Kiddikraft, a English based learning centre offering fun, creative and educational classes for children. She firmly believes that all children should enjoy books and loves to read to children to bring stories to life.
About the author:
Francesca Simon spent her childhood on the beach in California, and then went to Yale and Oxford Universities to study medieval history and literature. She now lives in London with her family. She has written over 45 books and won The Children Book of the Year in 2008 at the Galaxy British Book Awards for Horrid Henry and The Abominable Snowman.
