"Purrfect" Cat Tales storytelling (09/10/2011)

Cats continue to be the most popular pets in the world. Families adore their feline companions and of course many great stories have been written about them.

Come to our special cat stories session on 9 October 2011 for some enchanting cat tales (excuse the pun!). Jan Mann will be sharing her favourite fun and furry stories - Fat Cat by Margaret Read MacDonald and Cat Tales: The Cat With Two Names by Linda Newbery.

What happens if Cat's stomach is bigger than his eyes? He is always hungry. He doesn't just eat up everything in sight; he even swallows up his own friend, Mouse!

That's the last straw. What is Mouse going to do to the greedy Cat?

And what happens if a cat has two owners? It means not just two breakfasts, two lunches, two suppers… and two names! But, two of everything leads to double the trouble too. How is it going to end?

If you want to find out, register now.

It's going to be purrfect! See you there.

The Storyteller:

Jan Mann, Chairperson of Hong Kong Battle of the Books, is an avid reader dedicated to helping children to discover the pleasure of reading. She is currently an honorary advisor to Blooming Club.
