Children Make Terrible Pets and The Curious Garden storytelling (25/02/2012)

Lucy bear finds a very cute boy in the forest and brings him home to be her pet. They have fun together but things start to go wrong….
When Liam finds some dying plants in his drab city, he decides to help them grow. Little does he know that his efforts help transform the city bit by bit to a lush, green environment.
Come and join us on 25 February 2012 at Olympian City to pay tribute to Young Readers Festival 2012’s featured bestselling author, Peter Brown at our storytelling for both the fun of Lucy bear and her human pet as well as the important message in Liam’s quest for a greener world…. one garden at a time.
About the author:
Peter Brown grew up in leafy countryside of Hopewell, New Jersey. As a child he loved exploring the woods and streams near his home. Now that he is living in New York City, he often misses the countryside. So he began daydreaming of a bustling city filled with things that grow. For more details visit www.peterbrownstudio.com.
