Story Time: Jack and the Beanstalk (18/08/2012)

Since the Typhoon Kai-tak is approaching Hong Kong, here is the arrangement of the activity. If Typhoon Signal No. 3 or above is hoisted or Red/Black Rainstorm Signal is on after 9am on 18th Aug (Sat), the Story Time "Jack And The Beanstalk" will be cancelled.
Jack is sent by his mother to sell their cow, their only means of living. Instead, he exchanges it for some “magic” beans. His furious mother throws them out the window. The following morning he wakes to find that the beans have grown into a gigantic beanstalk. He climbs up the tall beanstalk which leads him high up to the sky…… What will he find there?
Join us at our story time on 18 August 2012 at noon. Mrs. Lindy Fok will read this famous English folktale and show you how to make a beanstalk.
