The Gruffalo storytelling (08/01/2011)

The Gruffalo is back in town in January together with The Gruffalo's Child in the musical adaptation of these two bestselling, award-winning titles by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Listen to the stories and read the books before going to the musicals; please join us for a storytelling of The Gruffalo & The Gruffalo's Child.

Don't know the story yet?

Well, let's go for a walk with Mouse in the deep dark wood where he scares away hungry animals by inventing a terrifying monster, the Gruffalo. Without knowing it, Mouse has to come face to face with the very creature he conjured up in his imagination - how will Mouse thwart the danger when the Gruffalo actually appears?

In The Gruffalo's Child, the offspring of the Gruffalo ignores her Dad's warning on a snowy night and ventures to see if Mouse does actually exist! Find out how brave this child with attitude is!
