Fans who grew up swaying to the familiar tunes of Peter, Paul & Mary's memorable folk music now have a chance to meet band singer/songwriter, Peter Yarrow.
Peter will come to share his latest song book, Songs for Little Folks,the magical tale of Puff and his friend Jackie Paper which he originally set to music, Puff, the Magic Dragon as well as celebrating the loving bond between parent and child in Day is Done.
Sharing stories is a medium to encourage your children to love to read, Peter's picture book with CD packs give your children both the stories and music. So please join us for a celebratory afternoon with folk legend, Peter Yarrow on 9 May 2010 from 2:30pm to 4:00pm at Blooming Club Children's Book Corner!
About the author
Peter Yarrow is a member of the iconic '60s folk trio Peter, Paul & Mary. Collaborating with illustrator Lenny Lipton, he is the author of the best-loved song (and now hit picture book) Puff, the Magic Dragon. In addition to extensive touring and performing, Peter is active in Operation Respect, an organization that promotes anti-bullying awareness in schools across the USA.
